Harley-Davidson's partnership with Chinese motorbike manufacturer QJ Motor is nothing new anymore.
One of the most anticipated models to come out of the partnership between Harley and QJ is the new X500, an H-D cruiser that was unveiled during the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show.
As expected, the Harley-Davidson X500 has much in common with an existing bike in Qianjiang's range, namely the Benelli Leoncino 500. QJ Motor's designers don't change the line-up of the bike much and the new model is quite identical to the Italian cruiser.
In terms of performance, the X500 has a 500cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine with a power output of 47.6 hp and with 44.7 Nm of torque. The frame is a tubular steel structure, includes a front suspension system with a 50 mm inverted fork and a rear shock absorber. The new X500 has 17-inch wheels front and rear and a dual disc brake system at the front and a single at the rear.
H-D features a semi-digital instrument panel, LED headlight and a rear light with integrated direction indicator lights. At the electronic level it is only known that X500 users will be able to count on integrated ABS system.

Currently the bike has only been presented in China, so we will have to wait and see where the new H-D model might come next.
